Third test match between India & West Indies at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai........

Third test match between India & West Indies was a draw at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Sachin Tendulkar missed his Hundredth 100 by 6 runs. He got out at 94 runs. R Ashwin was Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series.

Indian Rupee all-time low of 52.15..........

The rupee hit a low of 52.15 against the US dollar, making imports, overseas travel & study at foreign universities more expensive. The Rupee has never been cheaper against the dollar, although it had flirted with the 52.20 mark in March 2009 following global  financial crisis. But unlike then when the slide halted as as global markets recovered this time around, foreign exchange dealers are betting on further fall.

MS Dhoni goes past Syed Kirmani as Indian 'keeper with most dismissals........

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday completed another milestone as he pipped Syed Kirmani to become the Indian wicketkeeper with highest number of dismissals in his kitty.

Dhoni stumped Kraigg Brathwaite off Pragyan Ojha's bowling to bag his 199th victim in his 62nd Test match - one more than Kirmani who represented India in 88 Tests.

Among Dhoni's 199 victims, 173 are caught behind and 26 are stumpings.

Apart from Dhoni and Kirmani, only Kiran More and Nayan Mongia are the other two wicketkeepers who have recorded more than 100 dismissals. More had 130 dismissals from 49 Tests while Mongia had 107 victims from 44 test.
